To say that the water is blue is a gross understatement. There are two beach areas on Castaway Cay the family beach area and the adult beach area.Serenity Bay. Captain Jack Sparrow visited us on the beach. And of course, the Disney characters do make appearances on the island and are available for photos.
Guests can even sign up before they leave home. Guests are able to sign up for these activities before they leave the ship. There are an array of activities on the om biking, kayaking, jet skiing, parasailing, massages, snorkeling, swimming and, of course, relaxing. We saw a number of folks returning to the Dream, wearing their Mickey shaped medals from completing the run. For those of you who are runners, there is a Castaway Cay 5K that you can sign up for before arrival. The ship docks at Castaway Cay in the morning guests are able to disembark around 8:30 AM. Castaway Cay is Disney's private island available to guests on board the Disney Cruise Line. Have you ever wondered what paradise might look like? Well look no further because Castaway Cay could very well be paradise.

Maybe the Magic will update to something similar? All in all it was a wonderful cruise on the Magic! I'm so glad we went! Can't wait to book our next cruise!!!!!!! We did miss the Dream's Concierge Lounge and private sun deck. The size of the ships and the difference in the Concierge services were noticeable. The Disney Magic is beautiful but after being on the Dream you do see the differences. Love the hammock, sofas, fridge and outside shower. Private and secluded - it's like having your own private beach with umbrellas, lounge chairs, tubes and rafts. Again we rented a cabana - a wonderful option. Loved Cookies Too BBQ - great food as always! Great souvenir shopping with items found only on Castaway Cay - not even available on the ship. What can I say about Castaway Cay that I haven't said before? Or anyone else in their reviews? B-E-A-utiful!!!! Top notch all the way - I too would love a second day there or how about an overnight on the ship? Wonderful to wake up to another day on Castaway Cay! The beach and water - clean and clear. Loved the shows - Broadway like! Senses/Chill Spa is amazing - enjoyed by all - from teen (Chill) to adult (Senses). Very enjoyable selections - a nice break from the quick service pizza/burger options for lunch. We tried Cabanas for breakfast one morning and lunch on another day. The food and atmosphere was much better than Parrot Cay. The crew on the Magic is outstanding!!!! The new restaurant - Cariocca's - which replaced the Parrot Cay restaurant was a nice surprise. Absolutely beautiful to wake up to! The suite was newly redecorated - as always on a Disney cruise - clean, neat and tidy! Love the large living/dining area and the two bathrooms.

Excellent location and makes it easy to get to everywhere from the center of the ship. We stayed in the same suite we always stayed in - 8532 - which is right in the middle of the ship. We were excited to see and enjoy the updates. We haven't been on the Magic in quite a few years - the last two Disney cruises we took were on the Disney Dream. We enjoyed another wonderful Disney cruise in April- this one on the newly revamped Disney Magic.
